The first step is for our public school administers is to accept the fact that a computer can teach and is a more efficient teacher than a single teacher standing in front of thirty or more children. The next step is for our public school administrator to create a paradigm that will use the computer to teach our children.
Presently there are software companies that have produced software products that excellently teach our children.
Bradbury Software Enterprises - BSE has produced a software product. This product is called Arithmetic Skill Master I - ASM-I. ASM-I provides to pupils:
(a) A drag and drop procedure that teach the 4 operations of the whole numbers system - additional, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
(b) The pupil works at their own rate of learning.
(c) There are 4 ways ASM-I uses to find out if a pupil has learned a skill:
(1) 2 quizzes to teach the skill
(2) An examination to determine if the pupil has mastered the skill.
(3) There are homework assignments to make sure that our drag and drop procedure transfers to pen and paper.
(4) For sells to school systems the administrators have detailed knowledge of the process of each child.
