The meaning of a computer can teach

When I make the statement "A Computer Can Teach " I mean a computer can perform as well as a human teacher in teaching skills, idea and concepts. The personal contact is not there but this conduct does not lead to learning but only to the desire to learn. Some teachers contact is positive and some is negative. With a human teacher monitoring "Electronic Learning"- the combination can out teach any human teacher standing along.

Big City Public Schools Need More Computer Labs.

Electronic learning in the public schools of America can not exist in our schools without computer labs to support the learning. Restructuring education is the promise of every president that enters office. Using the computer to teach will make the promise come true. A single teacher standing in front of thirty or more children will surly place America at the bottom of industrial countries in educational performance.

"Electronic Learning"

A large percentage of children in big cities are from low income families. In most cases the children living quarters are too small for number of children in the family.
Most middle class children have a room of their own-this is a learning space for the child.
The public school can produce forty minutes learning space for for low income children by producing a cubical for them-this may produce in them an incentive to learn -but, also a new experience. If in this cubical is a computer that is programed to teach, you will have an example of "Electronic Learning".
What is " Electronic Learning"?
Electronic Learning is
(a) Introduces the skill, concept or idea using state of the art - multimedia top of the graphics.
(b) Produces Quizzes and Examinations.
(c) Records every response of the pupil.
In a school system this produces a volume of information. The statics on this information will show the administration how to improve the instruction.

Why Elementary Schools Administrations should use Electronic Learning in their Schools?
Today's budgets in our schools systems are demanding decreases in the staff on finding a more efficient way of teaching the children on both. Electronic learning produces a more efficient way of teaching some subjects. Math in grades first through the fifth grade is an area where ASM-I can make a great difference in the number of teachers needed to teach the arithmetic skills. With a school that has two math labs that hold 40 children in each, only two teachers are needed to teach arithmetic skills from the first Thur the fifth grade.
