Teaching math to the public schools of America the math that is needed to propel America children ahead of other industrial countries is that public school math teachers should not show the way.
You need people with degrees in mathematics to show the way. They will present to our children what skills, concepts and ideas that are needed to move into science and engineering. Only with professional mathematics help we can move up.
